Reviews of PandaDoc
Pros
Ease of use: Users praise PandaDoc for its ease of use. It allows users to quickly send electronic documents and set reminders, with a straightforward learning process due to its intuitive design. The platform's functionality, including document creation and formatting, is noted for its simplicity and efficiency, significantly reducing the time required to produce professional-looking documents.
Digital signature: Highly regarded for its reliability and user-friendliness. It offers useful functionalities such as signature order settings, the ability to copy individuals without requiring a signature, and a signing date lock that allows us to insert a date range that forces the date of the signature at time of signing. Users can also track document views and signatures.
Customer Support: Users feel that customer support is readily available 24x7
Cons
Form Issues: Users find the auto-alignment feature, which automates aligning dynamic fields on the contract, a bit difficult to use. Users also experience fields getting automatically misaligned. Moreover, sometimes, changing and removing fields is difficult in PandaDoc.
Signature Issues: Users complain that despite the platform working fine, the UI/UX for the recipient who signs the contract is bad.
What do you dislike about PandaDoc?
Only suitable for ~50% of my project proposals. Buggy document editing makes it less convenient than a PPT. Being limited to Google Fonts is another big one.
With Docupilot, automate any type of document with highly customizable templates.
What do you dislike about PandaDoc?
The pricing model is the worst that I have seen from any eSignature provider - $1068 per year just to use the API. The embedded document creation process is an SDK with zero control over the user experience.
With Docupilot, you get a simple and flexible pricing model.
Reviews of Proposify
Pros
Templates: Since Proposify is specifically designed for use cases involving sales teams, its templates are highly intuitive and actionable, enabling users to send proposals faster and reduce deal closure times.
Customer Support: Proposify's customer support is distinguished by its attentiveness and proactive approach. Users commend the team's dedication to understanding unique business needs, customizing solutions, and providing comprehensive training. This high level of support enhances user experience, ensuring both functionality and ease of use in proposal management.
Cons
Slow editor: Users report that Proposify's editor can sometimes exhibit slowness and require page refreshes for optimal performance. Challenges include the persistence of customizations, such as font colors and alignments, which occasionally revert to default settings during prolonged use. Despite improvements, inconsistencies in loading times and tool responsiveness remain areas for potential enhancement.
Steep learning curve: Proposify's editor, while robust, presents a steep learning curve, particularly when customizing proposals. Users find it challenging to navigate initial setup and make extensive modifications without frequent use. This complexity can lead to errors among infrequent users, highlighting a need for more intuitive design and improved accessibility features.
What do you dislike about Proposify?
Very difficult to make changes to my doc. Furthermore IT makes random changes to my doc without my knowledge. Got me in trouble with some contracts it mistakenly modified.
Docupilot is intuitive and offers flexibility with using more standard editors like MS Word, Google Docs, etc. Our online editor offers a flexibly and stable template building experience.
What do you dislike about Proposify?
Functionality should be more intuitive, less cumbersome. Key strokes and basic editing methods should be more similar to existing mainstream design-type products.
Docupilot offers a familiar editing experience and supports document templates that are created using well-known softwares like MS Word, Google Docs, Sheets, Powerpoint, etc.
